The main character is Totoro. He is a forest spirit that lives in the largest camphor tree in a small village. He is featured in Studio Ghibli's film My Neighbor Totoro.
Another story is Mount Fuji, located on Honshū, is the highest volcano in Japan and one of the symbols of the countru.
